How to eat fresh spirulina?

Fresh spirulina is super easy to eat! You can have it by itself or mix it into your daily meals, any meal you like. Its mild taste makes it a good ingredient – a great way to add extra nutrients to your food.

Eat it directly

To maximize nutrient absorption, consume spirulina on an empty stomach. Wait 15 minutes for better absorption, as solid food can slow it down.

Add it to your meal

Spirulina is versatile and can be added to a variety of dishes, but it’s best to avoid adding it to heated dishes, as heat can diminish its nutrient content.

Make it into Smoothie

Blend your favourite fruits like banana and strawberry with spirulina into smoothie for perfect breakfast or post-workout drinks.

Make it into Pesto Sauce

Complement your dinner with spirulina mixed into the pesto pasta sauce.

Are there any side effects?

In some people, various symptoms such as gastrointestinal upset and headache can occur, especially when the starting doses are too high. To avoid these symptoms related to the detoxifying properties of spirulina, start with 5 to 10 grams per day for a week and gradually increase the dose over the following weeks to ideally reach 15 to 20 grams per day.

  • During the preparation, processing, or storage stages, it must not come into contact with or be stored near any kind of food that does not meet the requirements mentioned above or any substances that are considered impure by Islamic law.

As Muslims, we deeply care about what we eat and what we give to our children. It must be Halal. Rest assured, our product meets all the Halal criteria. Enjoy it with peace of mind!
